i was actually on a major joe meek trip the other night after i got 'johnny remember me' stuck in my head and remembered reading about joe stamping in the bath to get the thump echo on 'Have i the right' i ended up playing a gzillion cds and watching some of my early 60s beat fave movies AGAIN. LOL.
as for 'eyes' to say that the song is a bit of in-joke among my circle just now would be an understatement.

That does remind me of a night a couple of years ago when I was with a group of people from the uni roleplaying society. It went quiet at one point and then someone pointed out that every single one of us was wearing glasses. :-)
