Mar. 13th, 2010 07:02 pmMy Granddad has broken his hip and is in hospital waiting for an op on it tomorrow. I'm hoping he'll be okay as he's quite fit and strong for 83 but we'll just have to wait and see.
I'm sad to hear about the death of Lesley Duncan, who is one of my favourite singer/songwriters and an erstwhile backing singer for Dusty Springfield.
On a brighter note, I'm thrilled to have exchanged a couple of notes on facebook with Judy Dyble. I love her music and am glad to find that she's a friendly and humorous lady. :-)
I reckon it's about time for tea - the sausage, chips & beans kind as well as the cupped variety - a bit of Agatha Christie and then to glance over chapter three of "Songs of Courting and Complaint". I didn't write much for that chapter back in November so it should be fun to see what new stuff I can add to it.
